Coldwell Banker's Walt Whatley Receives President's Circle Honor at Annual Awards Gala

DENVER- Walt Whatley, a Broker Associate with the Devonshire office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, was honored with the President's Circle award for 2007 during the leading real estate company's annual awards celebration held this year at the The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. Whatley's truly remarkable achievement places him among the top 1% of the nation's elite real estate professionals and within the top 15 individual agents of 1,500 broker associates operating from 13 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices throughout the state.

After receiving BSc., and MSc. Degrees in petroleum and reservoir engineering from Texas A&M University, Walt began his career with a major oil company. After that he joined Scientific Software Intercomp, as a consulting engineer, and within a year became the company's leading marketer and salesman. Along his way to becoming Corporate Vice President, Walt has signed to successful software and consulting contracts with petroleum companies in 30 countries.

In 1997 Walt received his real estate license in Colorado, so he could use his extensive marketing and sales experience to adding value to his clients' real estate deals. He has not looked back. He loves being a Realtor and representing his clients

Whatley and his wife, Adrienne, live in the foothills in SW Jefferson County, and he markets homes and works with buyers in the following subdivisions: Willow Springs, Willowbrook, White Deer Valley, Deer Creek Mesa, Ken Caryl North Ranch, West Ranch, Solterra, Homestead, and Marston Slopes.

During his first year in the real estate business, and every year since then, Walt has been a top performer. His real estate certifications include: Certified International Property Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Coldwell Banker E-agent Certified, Coldwell Banker RELOCATIONS Certified.

Walt has an affinity for working with people moving into and out of the area because during his career he has lived in three states in the US, and in six foreign countries. Walt loves travel and the outdoors. Hiking, snorkeling, working with weights, and fishing keep him fit. He enjoys teaching and offers specialized real estate classes for Coldwell Banker in their educational program for agents. During the past few years he and his wife have raised funds for the Morrison Museum of Natural History and they have been active with the membership committee of the Red Rocks Country Club.
