LONGMONT - Pam Collier, a broker associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Fort Collins, and Al Lombardi Sr., a senior mortgage advisor with Coldwell Banker Home Loans in Longmont, Loveland and Fort Collins, recently co-hosted a fundraising lunch for Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley. The special "Lunch Italiano" was held on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the New Frontier Bank in Longmont, raising more than $400 for a very worthy cause. Lombardi was instrumental in planning and coordinating the Habitat fundraiser, taking time from his busy professional schedule to assist with a very worthy cause. Al's wife, Pam, joined in the efforts by helping cook and serve diners at the event.
The homemade meal was prepared by Lombardi, who served as Chef, while Collier enjoyed the role of Souse Chef. Attendees enjoyed hand-rolled meatballs with homemade tomato sauce, Rosemary chicken with pasta complimented by asparagus and spinach, plus organic Caesar salad and hard-crusted bread with olive oil and roasted garlic. The lunch also featured a variety of handmade desserts and beverages.
A total of 25 real estate agents and affiliates dined on the homemade meal as Italian music filled the air. Donations were collected with all proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity, one of Coldwell Banker's preferred charities. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is currently sponsoring a new home for Habitat for Humanity in Longmont, and several Coldwell Banker broker associates recently volunteered their time and labor at the construction site.
