FORT COLLINS - Susan Warren, a leading broker associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Fort Collins, and Warren's licensed assistant, Nicole Dean Barnhart, have earned the EcoBroker Designation. Warren and Barnhart are among the first real estate professionals in northern Colorado to earn the EcoBroker Designation.
EcoBroker is the program designed to help communities across the U.S. and internationally take advantage of and encourage energy efficiency and sustainable design in real estate properties. Through EcoBroker educational courses, real estate professionals acquire the knowledge and resources to become Certified EcoBrokers and assist clients in their pursuit of properties with green features and marketing of properties with green features.
EcoBroker courses enable agents to constructively address environment issues such as radon, asbestos, lead, water, mold, indoor air quality, and other issues that may arise during real estate transactions. Certified EcoBrokers have learned about energy efficiency technologies, sustainable energy options, and how energy and environmental training can add value to all of their transactions when dealing with consumers who consider themselves green-minded and those who don't.
