Great news!!!.... Merrill has agreed to honor the mistakes that were made on the first AVP4 mailer that went out and will be resending every single European Vacation Mailer out in the mail again for all those who ordered them the first time around at no additional charge. The new mailers will have all the corrections made so basically the agents are getting another mailer sent to their clients (making another contact) which includes the additional postcards above the 100 included in the AVP. The exact same list and method of postage will be used for the resend and the agent does not to do anything further, it will automatically go out on October 10th.
Furthermore, we have also extended the drawing date for AVP4 which will be reflected on the postcards to show November 15th, which gives everyone a new opportunity to fill out the forms (without any trouble actually writing on the entry form cards) and the entry forms will have the agent's return address printed on the correct side (so it can actually can be sent back to the agent) with no hassles. Merrill has assured us of these corrections and the updates.
Here are the new dates for the resend of AVP4:
October 9 - The new AVP4 European Vacation Postcard live site for NEW orders.
October 10 - All reprocessed orders will go out mirroring their original orders (expect 7-10 days postage, etc.)
October 17 - New orders deadline for third class postage.
October 26 - New orders deadline for third class postage.
November 5, 6, 7 - Updated Office Call Nights
November 14 - Entry forms to Marketing
November 15 - Drawing Date for AVP4
For those who DID NOT previously order the European Vacation mailer and would like to, Merrill has extended this offer to agents; however, the agents will need to pick up the cost at this time and actually go in and order the postcards (this is not an automatic).
