Coldwell Banker Home Loans decided some time ago not to offer subprime 2/28 loans and similar products because it was not in our customers' best interest to do so. We also refrained from imposing pre-payment penalties or putting homebuyers into loans that they could not afford. We maintained our integrity by "doing the right thing" for our customers by offering mortgages that made financial sense for them. Today, our customers are glad we did-and we are a stronger company because of it.
